Our Portland Flower Shop | Phase I

Floral shop opens in Portland Oregon by a local floral designer and florist

Brian and I are so excited to announce that we’ve signed a retail lease and will be opening a retail storefront in Portland, Oregon this fall (or winter…stay tuned!) of 2019. The retail space is located in one of Guerrilla Development’s new buildings (still under construction): Pioneer Lavada Jones. It was, until very recently, a bright blue and grey building. It’s been repainted a bright white in the past few days, which I am pretty pleased about. I’m certain that you are more familiar than you think with Guerrilla Development, as they developed the “Fair-Haired Dumbbell.

Next on the agenda is plumbing/work sink, walk-in cooler build-out, ceiling beams painted and work counter installation! That’s about all the build-out we need to get up and running. However, that doesn’t include any of the inspections, which I won’t discuss here because they are a major killjoy.

Portland Oregon florist opens floral design shop for same-day flower deliveries and floral design workshops and classes

Once we have the retail space up and running, we will be open for flower deliveries galore, floral workshops and art classes. We will sell all things flowers from floral arrangements for delivery throughout Portland, hand crafted floral vases, floral frogs, and accessories for those who want to try their hand in floral designing. We will have unique color palettes of blooms on a daily basis for you to stop by and pick up a few stems to take home with you.

Lastly, we will have a dedicated space to meet with our wedding and event clients! No more coffee shop meetings, BUT there will still be coffee, tea, and/or champagne depending on your mood. Our clients will be able to peruse our votives, vases and decor as well as the blooms we will have in the shop. That will be new for us and I am so excited about it. Photos don’t quite do flowers justice and it will make a lot more sense

We can’t wait! Thanks for reading along in the journey. It means a lot to us.
